Description: For my 45th birthday, my wife told me to indulge myself & buy this pistol. The CDP pistols are built by the Kimber Custom Shop; this model starts out as an Ultra Carry which is a 3" barrel "Officer''s" sized 1911. The slide is stainless steel, the frame aluminum for an empty weight of 25 ounces. Also included in the base pistol is the beavertail grip safety & skeletonized hammer. The Custom Shop adds ambi safety levers, tritium night sights, 30LPI front strap checkering, premium aluminum match trigger, heavy "melt" treatment, matte black frame finish, frosted slide finish, and diamond checkered rosewood grips.
