Description: This is the new (to me) model 1895 Belgian Nagant. These were made for Russia, in Belgium from 1895 to 1898, and are known to be somewhat rare (with 20,000 or so being made) before Russia purchased the machine tools and plans and proceeded to make them until 1945. I am extrememly happy to have found one of these, with the only other one I have seen being offered on the Internet with an 1895 date for $1500.00! The bore needs some TLC, but the cylinder, locking mechanism, and overall pitting seems to be light. The brown handles are fashioned from bone, and seem to fit this revolver very nicely. As for the Kukri, I figured why not? Uploaded: 7/27/2008 by TJ Parmele
