Photo From: Mark Freburg - Album: Shooters

Description: I really can't say anything about this photo--I don't know the unit or the handgun.  If you know it, let us know.

Edited to add: with thanks to Sam Shallenberger, I can now tell you this is the Chinese QSZ-92 pistol and that it's chambered in both 5.8 Chinese or 9x19 Luger.  The officers are members of the Chengdu Bureau of Public Security in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan Province, apparently one of China's larger police forces.

I've been there several times over the years and the growth between when I first visited there in the mid-'80s and just a couple of years ago has been amazing. The one tradition that hasn't changed is the superb (but spicy) Sichuanese food.
