Webley MK VI

Photo From: TJ Parmele - Album: Handguns--Classic or Antique

Description: I have been looking for an affordable Webley MK VI for the longest time. This particular model was made in 1918 and the cylinder has been "shaved" to accept .45 ACP in moonclips, or .45 Autorim as when these were surplussed out .455 Webley was in short supply and .45 ACP was all over the place. Some machining was done and whammo, they can fire .45ACP. It's generally not recommended for shooting all that often as .45 ACP generates more pressure than the .455 Webley. This one provides some information of just how "proof happy" the British Empire used to be.
