Description: My Ruger SR1911. It's one of the nicest looking of the current crop of "everybody's making a 1911 these days" pistols. I liked the look of the Ruger right away, as it most closely reflected what I would do with a basic 1911 to customize it. It has very nice 3 dot sights and comes with a 7 rnd magazine and two 8 rnd magazines. The trigger is very crisp...a bit on the heavy side, but that's ok. I did replace the powerful recoil spring with a 'standard' 16lb spring which makes the pistol much easier to operate.
