Description: My modified VZ58 folding-stock Carbine. I replaced the beaver bark furniture with a polymer pistol grip and lower handguard, and replaced the upper handguard with a tight-fitting steel guard with integral Picatinny rail. To the rail I added a Bushnell TRS-25 mini red dot. I replaced the AK-oriented slant brake with a proper horizontal slant brake, and I replaced the left-sided magazine release with an ambidextrous magazine release that can easily be activated with the trigger finger as well as the offhand thumb. To finish it off I wrapped the steel folding stock arm in para cord for some slight additional comfort and I added a one point sling with bungee attachment.
