Description: Rollmarks on my Iver Johnson .38 super pistol. As you can probably see, the new IJ is HQ'd in Rockledge, Florida. Their 1911s are built by Shooters Arms Manufacturing in The Philippines. the frames are cast, the slides machine, using CNC machines. Tolerances are close and these 1911s are tightly fitted. To removed the extractor, for example, I needed to use a non-marring tool on both the front hook and the rear. this is not unusual on .38 supers or 9mms, but this extractor is exceptionally tight--well done indeed.
