Description: My polymer frame EAA Witness 1911P. I replaced the plastic recoil spring bushing and recoil spring bushing guide rod with steel versions, otherwise it's stock. The safety and hammer & trigger mechanisms are steel components pinned into the polymer frame, somewhat like the modern chassis-style guns such as the SIG P320, although not meant to be removed and replaced. Rails are steel of course. It shoots very well and the recoil impulse, while different from a steel frame 1911, is not excessive. It's pleasant to shoot.
