Description: This is why I prefer IWB (Inside the Waist Band) holsters to externally mounted ones. It shows my Springfield XD40 (in the plastic belt slide holster that comes with the XD40 package) as carried under my sweatshirt. It wasn't set up in any way - although I can fully conceal the gun initially, normal movement lets it peek out like this. If I ever decide to carry this gun defensively, I will order something like the Summer Special IWB holster for it in order to make sure the gun remains concealed.

Here it is, eight years later, and the gun pictured still sits in my safe unfired. I do have a Comp-Tac IWB holster that fits it and my XD45 but just haven't gotten around to using them. Stu |
