Description: This is a slightly different version of a Smith and Wesson 1917. Barrel has been changed to something akin to most likely chambered in .45 Colt. The surface also looks to have been re-finished in a black oxide. Trigger is ok. The Double Action lockwork needs smoothing up and I am probably going to replace the stocks.

Now which one is this again? It's pretty good looking. Certainly not the Duracoat one so a different one. Is this the one you bought the parts for?

This is the one. Durakoted and the hardness removed from the hammer and the trigger by polishing. The parts you sold me are going to go into this gun, when I can get around to finding the right smith. Local guy... meh. Thinking cylinder and slide.
