Joint efforts by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms and NSSF in reducing the criminal use of firearms continues with a series of upcoming firearm dealer-awareness seminars scheduled for Georgia (March 7 and 9), Minnesota (April 3) and Wisconsin (April 5). The "Partnership for Progress" seminars feature representatives from ATF and NSSF speaking on topics such as how to recognize straw purchases, firearm tracing, inventory security, gun shows, NSSF^s Project HomeSafe and more. The Georgia seminars will be on March 7, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., at the Marriott Century City Hotel, 2000 Century Blvd., in Atlanta (404-325-0000), and on March 9, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., at the Savannah River Front Marriott, 100 General McIntosh Blvd., in Savannah (912-233-7722). The Minnesota seminar will be on April 3, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., at the Double Tree Hotel, 7901 24th Avenue South, Bloomington, Minn. (952-854-2244). The Wisconsin seminar will be held April 5, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., at the Olympia Resort and Conference Center, 1350 Royale Mile Road, Oconomowoc, Wisc. (800-558-9573).
