NAC2 Is First National Sports Fair For The Armed Citizen

From: The Tactical Wire

The inaugural National Armed Citizen Challenge (NAC2) is a public Sports Fair for the Armed Citizen. Think of it as a national "Armed Citizens Convention." Produced by the Armed Citizen Alliance (ACA), it is the first such event of its kind.

There will be vendor displays, demos, and hands-on firearms product tryout opportunities offered by ACA sponsors, partners, and supporting manufacturers.

Nationally-qualified instructors and trainers will provide instruction in defense firearms use, and offer situational-awareness and mental-preparedness training.

There will be on-site classes that can qualify participants for concealed carry licenses in any state with enabling legislation.

There will be optional recreational events, including rimfire events in which families & youngsters may participate.

The Inaugural NAC2 will be held September 21-23, 2012, at PASA Park near Barry, Illinois.

Entry fee for public admission to the NAC2 grounds will be $10 per person per day. Manufacturers and vendors may charge a fee at their live-fire tryout areas to cover the cost of ammunition used.

ACA members may enter grounds free upon proof of ACA membership.

Training classes, courses, and optional recreational events will have separate enrollment fees. Pre-registration for training classes will be available online at www.Armed CitizenAlliance.com beginning August 15th.

In addition, there will be a Challenge Event presenting 12 separate personal-defense "Situations," which any adult NAC2 attendee may enter using their own personal defense handgun. Awards for individual performance will be given to those who participate in all 12 of the "Challenges."

Space in the Challenge Event will be limited. The entry fee for all 12 Challenges is $100, and pre-registration by postal mail is required. Walk-in entries for the individual Challenges are $15 apiece, if space is available. Entry forms and information for the Challenge can be downloaded now thru the NAC2 link on the Armed Citizen Alliance website at www.Armed CitizenAlliance.com.

The 12 different scenarios in the Challenge Event will form the basis for the ACA "Practice & Confidence" sessions which will be held at ACA-Affiliated shooting ranges and clubs across the nation in subsequent months and years.

Manufacturers or vendors interested in attending the NAC2 and presenting their wares, or instructors/training schools interested in offering classes or courses, should email ACAinfo@ArmedCitizenAlliance.com immediately. Space is limited; first-come-first-served.
