$10K reward for information in firearms burglary
(Associated Press) - TORRANCE, Calif.—A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of burglars who stole weapons from a Southern California firearms dealer.Burglars took handguns and rifles from the Turner's Outdoorsman store in Torrance early Tuesday.
Lt. Mark Athan says officers answering a burglar alarm at 3:45 a.m. discovered the rear door had been pried open.
The number of weapons taken is being withheld.
The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward and Turner's Outdoorsman, a federal firearms licensee, is offering $5,000.
Investigators are examining surveillance video.
