For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I don't know if the current Maverick is even made in the USA anymore, but at one time they only come with one action bar, and if for that reason if no other I'd get the real-thing Mossberg with double action bars. They are great guns, have an ambidextrous safety where it works best, on the top rear of the receiver, and they work. I've had mine since 1989. Plain jane as you can get--hardwood stock, blued, bead front sight--although I snapped on one of those green FO front sights over the bead as it is really a night time gun for me. |
