For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where:
I'm the happy owner of one of the aluminum cylinder S&W air force issued guns.

Oh, it's not a museum piece, but it's part of history and maybe someday I can have it restored to it's former glory.

The perils of searching gun auctions. I'm on break starting Wednesday and I intend to send for a S&W letter on this one.
