For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Anderson Manufacturing Kiger 9c. I know there aren’t a lot of Glock enthusiasts here so this may not interest a lot of folks. The other day I had a friend come out to shoot and he brought an Anderson Manufacturing Kiger 9c. The Kiger is a Glock gen3 clone which Anderson and other companies are able to produce because Glock’s gen3 patent has run out. The Kiger is a Glock 19 copy. The only real difference is the shape of the frame, it’s more 1911-ish. I believe the frame is from St. Croix Tactical. This pistol, according to him, was brand new unfired. We put about 200 rounds through it of mixed 115g FMJ, ran like a Glock. The trigger was very good, for a brand new Glock. The sights were basic Glock style plastic, white dot front, black notch rear. Nothing to write home about but well regulated and any Glock aftermarket sights will work. Since this is a Glock clone, supposedly any Glock or aftermarket part will work. I’m not advocating Glock fans sell their Glocks and go to the Kiger But if you like that grip frame better, give it a closer look. |
