I got a new Tikka Varmint rifle this week in 223 Rem.  Going to be a good rifle.  Mounted a 1x8x24 Vortex scope.  

I haven't made up my mind about reloading just yet.  There is a bunch of 223 Rem ammo out there.  If I can come up with a commercial round that is accurate and cheap, I may not reload.  The cost of components is really high.   Primers are expensive and some powders seem hard to find.  I sold all of my reloading equipment years ago so will have to buy everything.

It is exciting shooting rifle again.

The long range 22LR game is popular these days.  Takes a really accurate rifle to be completive.  I was reading last night that some people are having a hard time finding Midas 22LR ammo.  Not to mention the high cost.  What rifle will you be shooting?
