For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have a Taurus SS 38 with a 2" barrel, duplicate of the S&W Md 36.  Excellent quality for about half the cost, I highly recommend it.  It's also available in a mat blue if you don't like stainless. I use 125 grain +P, it's fine with +P, not excessive recoil.
