First of all, this is an article that uses a story about a shooting in another country and compares it to the USA, from a pro-gun organization's viewpoint. Is that valid? In this case, I think it is valid because it uses the talking points from the American antis and refutes them. It also includes the similarities of the Austrian shooter to a number of US school shooters, i.e. from a single parent home, failure in school, and access to legal firearms.

OTOH, the article gives Mr. Gottlieb an opportunity to emphasize the position of his organization, with which I definitively agree. YMMV.
