For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: They may have watched too many spy movies, where the special effects people make "silencers" sound like a quiet little "poof," and they think that's real life. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised--the movies have conned people about firearms (and other things) in SO many ways. And then, too, they think every thug who robs a 7-11 has a suppressor on the end of his Hi-Point.
