For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: >>What did you buy last Friday?<< It was a Valmet 412S over/under shotgun in 12 gauge.
This one came with 26" barrels, fitted with screw-in choke tubes. It is actually my 15-year old son's gun. He'd been shooting his mother's Beretta 303 semi-auto 20 gauge but outgrew that one, so for the past year he's been shooting my Valmet over/under with 20 gauge Briley tubes installed. I decided it was time to get him his own gun. (So that I could have mine back. He shot this one for the first time on Sunday and broke 22 out of 25 targets in a round of regulation skeet. I told him the gun probably just didn't fit him and we'd have to send it back.. |
