I have not pitted the two guns side by side and I have had the 24 longer than the 35, and have shot it a lot more. That said, I suspect my 24 is slightly more accurate than my 35. But take that with a large grain of salt. One of these days I have to do a real test and see how they compare! Re: eyesight. Yep, you're probably good for two or three years minimum, maybe as much as ten. It usually hits people around their mid-40s. If you are a handgunner especially your tastes insights will probably start to change as your vision does. We tend to discuss this a lot around here as we have a large contingent of fellas with older eyes. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Mark, Great information, I like the idea of the longer 6 inch barrel. However I am not good enough shooter so I would probably not see the difference. There is a shop nearby with a 35 so I need to go and see how it feels. At the moment I am still leaning toward the 24. You commented on the slight balance difference. Do you perceive an accuracy difference due to the increase barrel length? BTW: I'll be 39 next month, no glasses yet but I know its coming...
