Description: My Gen 2 Glock 22.  A police trade-in, I have refinished the slide in Brownell's Alumu-Hyde II, and replaced the sights with all-black target sights that allow huge amounts of daylight on both sides of the sight.  These were made by Ameriglo.  I've changed the internals with Glock OEM parts to give it the same trigger pull as a Glock 34 or 35. Since the caption, I replaced the barrel with a Lone Wolfe 9mm barrel and of course Glock 9mm magazines. I don't shoot this much, but every once in a while I take it out for fun. Last time was probably a couple of years ago when I took two new shooters out for an intro to handguns day. They were really impressed and one decided he had to look at Glocks and consider buying one. I didn't want to poo-poo his plan, but I tried to emphasize that mine is a pretty refined Glock with easy to see sights and a much better trigger than most factory Glocks. Why do I like it? Lack of finger grooves mainly, full-size grip frame, light caliber, good sights, good trigger. Still not a 1911, but it's fun to shoot.
