While the all-stainless steel model 5906 was the most popular and the thus the most well known, this model 5904, which has an aluminum frame for weight-saving, makes much greater sense for a private citizen. It can be carried with ease, yet is a 15+1 pistol for those who haven't drunk the polymer Koolaid and still appreciate a safety on their pistols.
