| I have always thought if they kept the price at $300ish it would be competitive, but at $500 they are competing with tactical pumps from nearly every manufacturaer. A nice beginners home defense weapon as well I would think. I can see reasonable competance with a double much quicker than with a pump. I would consider one for my wife, in 20 gauge it might be just the ticket. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think MSRP was $499 or so. When I bought mine with the tactical rail underneath the barrel, we had them at $460. The shotgun as I have it is currently unavailable. We received a message from Mossberg stating that they weren't going to import anymore of those with the rail. I'm willing to let mine go for something like $270. I have other interests to feed. :) TJ |
