| What's funny is that the gun is now under current production by Zastava, a Serbian company. I think this is what is clouding the C&R picture. I think the ones with the Yugo crest are C&R simply because the country that made them no longer exists. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I sent an email to Midway today asking them why the M57s they are selling are no longer C&R eligible, and haven't heard back. I did the same with Classic Arms a week or so ago, and all they said was that this shipment they received wasn't eligible. No further explanation.
