Thank you Frank! I'm going to probably upgrade the Surefires to an Olight S2R Baton II. They seem to make more sense for the bump in the night things. I like the versatility. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi TJ, My most used light around the house is my Olight S2R Baton II. They have a new model of the Baton II that has a three color indicator light to tell you how much charge you have in the light. The indicator light is incorporated into the switch located on the barrel. This is the light I use to get up in the night for what ever reason. I use the low .05 lumens setting and don't bother the wife. The output range is 1150, 400, 120, 15, and .05 lumens. You can see the S2R Baton II here. Make sure you scan down and look at the Technical Description. This light uses a customized 18650 battery with 3200 mAh. This flashlight is 3.9" long and .9 diameter. My all time favorite Olight is the Seeker II. This light has a barrel switch and indicates the level of the light and the remaining charge. This light uses a customized 2700 battery with 5000 mAh. You can see the Seeker II here. This light is 5" long. The Link takes you to the kit that includes a L bracket for mounting the light. You can buy just the light for much less. This is my favorite light for out doors. Max lumens is 3200 and the minimum lumens is 5. Again, scan down and check out the Technical Description. It will give you all the run times. The indicators on the switch are very handy to keep track of what level you are on and how much charge is remaining. Frank |
