For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: When I was younger I always wanted one of those. Congrats. I would have to look at the specs but IF YOU HANDLOADED you could probably make 9x23 Largo from .38 Super cases, the same dies can be used for both. Although in power it is more like .38ACP. The again, today's loadings of .38 Super ball are also more like .38ACP. Not suggesting anything, just saying. I would take the bolt apart and see what's up before shooting it. It's a simple bolt, and it may just be gummed up. If something is broken you may not want to shoot it in that condition. |
