For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: "Oh, no Remington either--but is there a Remington Arms these days? Perhaps not?" They are around and pumping out rifles, shotguns, and 1911s again, but were indeed absent. The only other bigger name manufacturer I didn't see (aside from S&W) was Steyr, but they aren't huge in the US market either. |
