That HP looks pretty decent, and the price is not too bad all considered. I'm registered on most sites but not that one, is it pretty decent? | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have seen a couple of the Browning .40 HP Practical models with the nickel slide, but I want an all-blue model. Those indeed seem to be unicorns. Here's one that might interest you. Regarding SIGs, I really enjoyed all my SIGs, from my brand new, made-in-West-Germany P220, to my well-worn externally P226. The P226 I found in a gun shop as a police trade-in that came with something like six mags, so that was a deal I couldn't pass up. I put in a short trigger, and that made it really nice for me. I thought the P239 was about a perfect size carry gun (and Stu would probably agree), especially in this day of smaller guns being the norm.. As the resident Sig fan boy, I still have a P228, which is my carry gun. I chose it over the P239 simply because of magazine capacity, and I have the short trigger in it as well (it does make a noticeable difference to me). The other P2XX series pistols have come and gone for me, but I did enjoy them at the time, especially the P220s in .38 Super. Nice photos! Harvey |
