For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It appeared to be doing its best to get adopted. At the very least it was tagging along, probably instinctively trying to learn what it had been learning from its mother. I didn't get to watch them for very long. I spotted them coming down the driveway and grabbed the camera just in time to shoot a picture out a bedroom window before they disappeared into the national forest behind the cabin. I never saw a whitetail in with mule deer again. This is a great picture to learn the identification differences between young whitetail and mule deer... |
