For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Reading the reviews of the Savage Mark II was the reason I bought the ones I did. I took the Savage with the 21-inch barrel and the Bergara BMR to the range Tuesday. I shot nine groups with each rifle. The Savage average for the nine groups was 0.437. The Bergara average was slightly better at 0.371. My best scores yet. Maybe I should quit while I am ahead.
