For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The first paragraph of the H&K article in the latest American Rifleman was interesting. The writer tried to say what everyone knows without putting it into the exact words. To whit: Heckler & Koch is a interesting brand within the American shooting landscape. The German maker has wide respect among shooters--with multiple iconic models associated with legendary military units and SWAT teams. And it would be challenging to find a blockbuster action movie that did not prominently feature an H&K firearm; however it is almost an in-joke among H&K's dedicated U.S. fan base that the company seems indifferent to its demands.
I don't know how he could have genuflected from his knees toward H&K any harder, using any more extreme words of excessive praise, only to finally get to H&K's well-known motto: "We hate you and you suck." Sure he emphasized the wide respect from military and SWAT teams, and made the silly comment about movies |
