 My thinking too. I believe Mossberg tried to make this more shootable by reshaping the pistol grip and adding the fore-end loop, but how much does that really improve something like that? Maye a world champion weight lifter would be comfortable with it, but not me....

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Everyone should try shooting a 12-gauge shotgun with a cut-off butt stock like that, or with a pistol grip for a butt stock, just in case they ever get misinformed enough to try to shoot one, or heaven forbid, try to hit something with one.
