I guess I don't have a real problem with the external extractor, except that it isn't original.  But they work fine on S&W TDA autos and Hi-Powers, two pistol types I have experience with.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The bobtailed grip frame is a deal breaker for me but I could live with the external extractor on this 1911-ish pistol. Heaven only knows what "improvements" are going on inside it...
