Here's some news from Kimber, a company that used to make original style 1911 pistols, but has strayed from those types somewhat in order to accommodate what I can only assume is a younger generation who really has no use for the original style 1911 unless it features these "modern" features.  Here's the new gushing press release from Kimber: Kimber Announces Promotional Campaign for the Next Gen 1911
