URGENT - Safety Plan Emergency Amendment

The Sig P320 and all variants, to include the M17 and M18, are prohibited from club grounds until further notice.

As many of you may have been tracking in the news and on the internet there are significant safety concerns with the Sig P320 and all variants, including the M17 and M18 used by the military. This has led multiple federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, as well as segments of the military to discontinue their use. The club offices have reviewed available information, and out of concern for member safety and club liability enacted an Emergency Amendment to the Safety Plan. The Sig P320 and all variants are prohibited from club ground until sufficient information is available make a final decision on their use at the club. This means that they may not be shot on any range personally or in competition. Further, they may not be brought to the club when not intending to be shot - concealed carry, in a range bag, or for any other reason. Violation of the Emergency Amendment will result in a safety violation, and suspension of club access until such a point as an individual safety re-training can be accomplished. We understand the inconvenience this will cause those who own the P320 and appreciate your understanding.

I think this is all a gross over-reaction.
