As to the SIG safety of lack thereof, I have heard it said--maybe by someone here--that SIG may have been too influenced by the utter lack of safety levers on other, similar polymer pistols
I think Ian brought up an excellent point in the video you posted. Aside from the "drop safety" issue that Sig experienced, his thought that maybe Sig decided to not use the trigger "dingus" that others featured in order to differentiate their polymer, striker fired pistol. Really a poor excuse, but it has been forwarded that it tok the military to force the issue. Er, it wasn't you that said that, was it? I'm sure I wasn't the first person to ever say this. Harvey |
