Yeah,
Sheriff Jim Wilson and Richard Mann also had neat little plugs going for it. That's what kind of kicked it to the forefront of my mind, and also how much I don't shoot it and the fact that I have 3 other pump shotguns that will do the job with better capacity. I can reload this little monster quickly and easily especially with the buttcuff. It's a skill I learned as a Cowboy Action Shooter, and while nice, I'd rather not need to reload at all. Hence the Remington 870 with the 8+1 Capacity. The buttcuff's going on that one for sure. I've listed this little Maverick on Gunbroker.com for sale and it's got a couple of bids. Soon, someone else can enjoy this one as I've gotten my fill of wonderment out of it. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It's interesting how much interest that little over/under is garnering. See Rich Grassi's review in a recent issue of Tactical Wire. Whoda thought? ![]() The capacity is definitely an issue, as is the lack of ejectors. However I learned in Cowboy Action Shooting how quickly a shotgun without ejectors can be shot and reloaded if the shooter knows what he/she is doing. |
