That's too bad.  the old Savage/Stevens SxS was a real workhorse and an economical choice for a field gun!  IIRC, it was originally a Fox design... Stu

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Savage as you know owns Stevens.  They offer three basic shotgun types--a pump, an OU, and a bolt-action.  No SxS at all.
