| One thing I didn't comment on which, like it or not is pretty impressive, is that the plastic "stock" is made on a 3D printer. I still can't wrap my head around that. Doesn't change my perspective on the rifle, but it just shows how far we've come. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I see it as a novelty more than anything else, with little of the classic cachet that a real BAR would have for collectors or re-enactors. A 12 pound semi-auto .30-06 at $3000+ seems like a pretty small niche product to me, but I wouldn't have minded a 12 pound BAR back in the day when I had to hump one on a long march.
