| I’ve read a little about this cartridge previously. I think it’s got some potential but I don’t think it’ll gain much of a following. It’s so close to the .223, people will say why not go with the more established caliber? On the larger side, there are already several calibers to choose from. The .300aac and 6.8, just to name two. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: (Moved to Cartridges and Ammo section for continuity--Mark) It is interesting what will pop up as folks try to make the AR better as a hunting rifle. They say that this round comes pretty close to the old .250-3000 Savage, which was a pretty good deer and varmint combination and also a pretty good chambering for new or recoil sensitive hunters. |
