For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think if I was hunting for a nice looking example of a Garand to stick in the safe and shoot once in a while this one would serve, if it can be bought at a reasonable-for-a-Garand price. But, since my old eyes don't like aperture sights, I have no desire for milsurp rifles anymore. I also wouldn't be interested in it if it was a collector because I'm only interested in shooters these days. |
