I guess because: it was very inexpensive it is nice looking for a modern pistol--most of them are pretty ugly the one I tried in 2018 had a nice trigger, so I'm hoping that's the case across the board it still has some basic features I prefer (SA, hammer, thumb safety)

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Not so much, because the M17 is a military handgun. What made you choose this Ruger?
