While I greatly respect you and your downsizing program--I've been contemplating it for a while now myself--I know it's going to be an issue when I start looking at my 1911s.
Look elsewhere first. (Like the old joke -- Me: doctor, it hurts when I do this. Doc: Then don't do this. I'm sure you have others in your collection that you don't love nearly as much as your 1911s. Besides, you have a number of years ahead of you to make those decisions. Harvey |

I have more 1911s than any other firearm. I have them in .45ACP (the most, of course), .40S&W, .38 Super, 9mm, and .22LR. And I reeeeely love them all.
