Yeah, I have largish hands. At least with the 1911 though I can grasp the slide with confidence and feel that there is enough real estate to manipulate it reliably. I feel the same about the Browning Hi-Power. The CZ-75 just doesn't allow that for me. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I considered the CZ 75BD I had for a carry gun. That didn't last long due to it's weight. Just too heavy. It's a service sized pistol, and at about 34-35 ounces it's not a lightweight by any means. But it's in the several ounces of range of other all metal service pistols like the 1911 and Hi-Power. Its teeny tiny slide also doesn't help for gripping so I decided to offload it. Glad I did too. I can respect the design, but it's not for me. I take it that you have large hands. Harvey |
