I'd consider them the top two single-action 9mms. Yes, the CZ is SA/DA, but it can be carried cocked & locked as well. Of course the CZ-platform comes in other chamberings, too, and there are lots of clones of the CZ and other chamberings as well.

In my opinion this pistol is more ergonomic and shoots better than either the CZ97b or the EAA Witness .45 auto, and holds more ammunition. While all three are very similar in being based off the famous CZ75 pistol, they are all different enough to require a hands-on at the very least. And once you shoot them, I really think you'll be surprised, and impressed enough to consider the least expensive of the three--the K2--as perhaps the best choice.
