That Destroyer Carbine would have been nice to have--Eric and I have become quasi Spanish arms collectors. And Eric has a friend whose parents grew up in Spain, and who still has a lot of family there. Eric went over there a couple years ago, visited, then went several other places in Europe (The Czech Republic of course--including the CZ store in downtown Prague  ). Anyway, he and I are mostly handgun guys when it comes to Spanish arms, but that Destroyer took handgun ammo, and would have given me an excuse to get into a "new" cartridge--lots of handguns out there chambered for the 9x23 Largo.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yup. It's a nice shooter, but I haven't shot it since we last took it out. I'm trying to make it so that I don't have as many things I haven't shot in... years. The core parts of my stuff are staying put: the 610s, most other Smith and Colt Revolvers, the 1895 Nagants... along with stuff I just think is too cool. I parted with my Destroyer Carbine last week and my 1897 Winchester 12 Gauge take down. |
