BY the way--I wish I had your willingness to sell stuff. I've said this many times, but I'm at the age where I really need to start selling stuff, but so far can't bring myself to do so. Of course Eric will inherit a lot of stuff, but he's not interested in everything I have. And a lot of things I own, even if I haven't shot them in forever, still give me the warm fuzzies when I handle them. Even the weird stuff, like the Lee-Enfield that had been modified by being shortened to the length of a Jungle Carbine--not official, but I found it to be cool:

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yup. It's a nice shooter, but I haven't shot it since we last took it out. I'm trying to make it so that I don't have as many things I haven't shot in... years. The core parts of my stuff are staying put: the 610s, most other Smith and Colt Revolvers, the 1895 Nagants... along with stuff I just think is too cool. I parted with my Destroyer Carbine last week and my 1897 Winchester 12 Gauge take down. |
