All,
I've decided to start thinning out some of my guns. The prices were recommended by the shop I use for consignments. While the oddballs, I just recommended starting them at 0 and seeing where they ended up. I am selling this older Colt because the last time I shot .25 ACP was about 5-6 years ago. It's a neat gun, but too hard to really get a good grip. This one feels nice in the hand, shoots well, and from when I recall after I put 6 rounds through it 5 years ago, fairly accurate. I just don't shoot this and ammo is annoying to find. I'm somewhat surprised this made it into my "sell off" pile, but again I have only shot it a few times. I remind myself I have 3 other Glock 9MMs so it's ok to let this one go. A fun gun, but again something I don't shoot that often. I love the .32 ACP round and this being the first double stack 10 round round magazine out there, it's a bit ahead of its time. But, I haven't shot this in years. Long overdue. Uncomfortable to grip and while neat as James Bond's first gun (so far as I can tell) it's just no longer destined to be in my collection. Shot twice, never carried. While neat, it's time to let someone else have the joy of what is essentially a 3913 double stack. Awfully fun to shoot. Ammo availability and spare mags are impossible to find. So... it's time to go. Shot twice, never carried. This one needs to go as well. This one kind of surprised me that it made my list to trade or sell off. It's time. I thought I would make a nice "noir" gun with this one, but decided that the vintage 1917 I already have is what needs to stay. |
